LOCAL SEPHORA HAS NO NARS PRODUCTS!!!!!! T_T

Certainly disappointing! They have smashbox, makeup forever, pop beauty, benefit, bare minerals etc but no NARS.
Why?? They should really include NARS. Now I'll have to do my purchase online (waiting for payday and sephora spree). Can't test the color either! =(

Was out with wwe and there was A MASSIVE CROWD AT ORCHARD. WTF. The streets are bursting with people. A lot of street performances, people snapping pictures like crazy, and there's even floats on the roads! GEE! Maybe there's always a Christmas parade every year and I just didn't manage to catch a glimpse till tonight. TP is out directing the traffic as well - this is how chaotic it is.

And I bought that cheap light grey Max & Co dress. They are having another promotion on top of the first: first item at $19.90 and second item at $15. Didn't fancy anything else so paid $19.90 and head off to taka.

That dress was sold out at Wisma's branch and I got mine at their Far East store. Shall wear that on Christmas eve with thick makeup and fake lashes (if I manage to glue them on). =)

Found some storage containers with compartments in Muji - just the right size for my cosmetics! Geh! Room is so messy and my stuff is strewn all over. A bit fed up when looking for things. Must start tidying already. Anyhow, I bought one of Muji's storage containers ($5.90) to hold my brushes. Plastic rectangular container divided equally into 6 compartments with the height of a normal pen holder. =DD Now I not only can put those brushes away nicely, I can classify them as well!

If that works good, I may pop by Muji to get somemore of their storage range. Needs something to store my accessories/belts/other cosmetic items neatly.

Had been surfing the internet this afternoon and for some reason, I decided to look up on NARS (french cosmetic brand) and came across reviews for their famous NARS orgasm blusher. I have already heard of this particular blush when I first started as a cosmetic rookie (I still am because my application skills still suck compared to experts), how great and fabulous it was, how people are snatching it up like crazy, oos all the time etc. 

What caught my attention, is not the pretty peachy color but the description of the blush:

NARS Orgasm makes cheeks blush a perfect pinky-peach flush and subtly highlights with accents of golden shimmer. The perennially pleasing, universally flattering shade is again and again a makeup artist and beauty editor favorite.

Doesn't that makes you just want to try it?!?!??!?

Universally flattering blush - I have been looking for this since way back! I still love my new bodyshop blushers but I have to try NARS Orgasm! Main problems encountered whilst searching for the perfect blusher: too orangey, too red & too mature looking. Buying a good blush is a worthwhile investment because it is applied to a larger portion/area of your face and brings out a healthy flush (which most of us do not have and constantly dream of).

After buying, trying various shades/brands of blusher and wasting my money, I have decided to settle on Bodyshop's 02 Raspberry Pink and 05 Tea Rose. Great colors - 02 gives me barbie pink cheeks and 05's shade is similar to the one that the MAC pro artist used during my MAC applied class so 05 goes really well with my new foundation and lipstick (from MAC). Have been using 05 recently =D Am super pleased with the color.

NARS Orgasm costs S$65 at some private cosmetic retailer in Singapore (not sure if local Sephora stores carry NARS - going down to see tml). Thinking to try out the color first (if Sephora has it), compare price (of getting locally or online) then buy. I might end up getting other shades of NARS blush (they all look equally pretty! All with RA names as well -_- ) instead of the famous Orgasm shade. LOL! But I certainly hope to get the Orgasm shade first. ^_^

Bought my second Topshop bag! Looks as cute as my last one and cost $49 cos there's fifty percent sale at Topshop! Love it to bits. Usual price is $89! This particular bag caught my eye months prior the year end sale and I wanted it so very much. Heng I never buy that time! =D But I should really count myself lucky because this is the last one in stores. Means it is meant for me! XD

Couldn't find anything nice at Mango sale - very cui this year. Planning to get down to Topshop at Ion and Max & More again on Monday to see if I can snag anything good! Am already targeting a $19.90 dress from Max & More (yes, I am so gonna start wearing dresses now) to wear to family's xmas party. I want to buy somemore sales stuff from Topshop! Being able to pick up something good at lower prices during sales gives me a very high sense of achievement. Feels damn accomplished today. =D

Office xmas party is a blast! =D Dine at Bedrock Bar & Grill before heading to watch Beauty and the Beast musical. THE MUSICAL IS THE BESTEST EVER!!! EVERYONE SHOULD REALLY GO AND WATCH! I WANT TO WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! Food from Bedrock is great as well. Plus, I got a Lancome skincare set and a cat house from the gift exchange. I am a hell of a lucky girl!

1-2 more parties before the year ends! Should go for countdown!

UO Ocean Charm necklace arrived! =DD
Looks very bit like the pictures shown on UO website. Love it alot! Needs some adjustment with the chains though. Too long...
Was out with wwe and HP yesterday and wore my LJ white boat neck zipper top and that UO Asymmetrical free bird necklace. Looks really good together! Am happy with my outfit and the make over at MAC. My blending skills have improved but is still far off from those expert strokes by MAC pro artist - needs more practice. Well satisfied with the artist that attend to me - she created a nice day look. A pity I still can't line my eyes well or everything would have been perfect. I think I will definitely sign up for more MAC classes in the future. =)

wwe was rather pissed with the whole thing - according to her, I made her overspend at MAC counter. =.=

All in all, I spent around $164 on cosmetics (their foundation are very expensive but good). I didn't get the shadows because I have similar shades at home. Focused on foundation, face concealer and contouring products. Bought their mocha matte lipstick as well - nice color and couldn't resist!

Aiming for these MAC products next:
- brow gel
- mascara primer
- speed dial lipstick
- pot concealer
- gel liner
- eye liner brush

With xw, jade and elaine! Gosh, I didn’t know elaine is back in SG. XD it was such a surprise seeing her – arranged by sneaky xw. :D We had a great time exploring 313 Orchard and talking about life during sec sch.

I see many chio shoes in 313 Orchard! Dragging wwe there tml. I love that place!  We are meeting earlier to do a little bit of shopping before going for the MAC class.

Over ate yesterday – 1 huge sushi set, 1 huge onigiri, 9 digestive biscuits and 1 generous plate of prawn noodles. @_@ couldn’t sleep last night because of my bloated stomach. It was hell! I can feel the food moving. =S

No more bling eatings!!!
